HP SLATE 7: MICRO USB PORT REPAIR

HP SLATE 7: MICRO USB PORT REPAIR

I have a hp slate 7. I use it for just about everything. I have a windows computers for games, a linux laptop for development and surfing and a hp slate 7 tablet for work. Due to the fact that I use my hp slate a lot the micro usb port started to have problems.

I was about to replace it when I decided to look around for a fix. I found the micro usb port cable on ebay… You can get it from between $4 to $20.

I worked up the nerve and replaced it. It didn’t work. I had to disassemble and reassemble a couple times to get the new cable properly seated but eventually I got it running.
