PRINT DRIVER: UNABLE TO INSTALL USB PRINTER

I got a new computer… Well new for me… you know what I mean… an ebay special… and I discovered on my newish windows 7 64 bit pc that I was not able to install a km 1820 usb print driver.

First the pc kept saying there was a problem with the printer installed in usb port.
Then I tried installing kx driver and found that I could not install usb driver manually or even detect it…
Then I tried to explore windows update for windows driver that works…
Then I tried google…
and ofcourse all techs online blamed the user…
Finally I found a solution that sounded just wierd…
Turn off uac and reboot and you will be fine…
I tried it and yep it worked great…
yeah the print driver showed the error sign on it…
but it worked… and worked great…
I was printing…
