DNS FOR LOCAL NETWORK

Ever been on a network that can not resolve dns. I mean you have to type in the IP Addresses of each computer becuase the host name does not work because of network and/or network administrator problems. I have had the unfortunate experience to run into some of these network situations. Here are a couple of links on setting up a dns server for local dns resolutions.
