XEROX PHASER O7.010.XX ERROR




This is an error where the printhead is stuck. This can be caused by broken gear or spilled ink. First step is to clean printhead area. If that doesn’t work then your next step is to go into printer diagnostic and test the heater, then run the head maintenance wiper clutch test… a couple of times… run the wiper drive test a couple of times… run the tilt axis drive test a couple of times… sometimes doing these tests then exiting maintenance mode can clear the error… if not then your areas of interest for replacement are the areas that failed the test… there are other tests in the diagnostic mode… any area that fails needs to be further investigated… it is either failing broken, misaligned or simply has ink spilled on it. you will only know if this option worked if you exit diagnostic mode and reboot… if you boot properly then chances are its just spilled ink gumming up your machine…
