Its interesting to note…

Most copiers have noise problems not because of bearings going bad or even rust. They have noise problems because the grease that keeps the plastic gears lubricated and moving noiselessly… does an interesting thing. It dries up. So next time you have a noise issue… check your plastic gears… and have some high temp lubricating grease handy…
