HOT SWAPPING




Hot swapping describe the function of replacing computer system components without shutting down the system. More specifically, hot swapping describes replacing components without significant interruption to the system.

Hot swapping is useful for the following reasons:

* configuration changes
*It may simply be for convenience.
*synchronization
*add or remove secure data
*redundancy

Examples of hot swapping with hard drives:
