CLEANING TRANSFER BELTS LAST DITCH EFFORT TO AVOID REPLACEMENT

Only clean the transfer belt if there is a label stuck to it or glue or the like. The transfer belt is self cleaning. There is chance it could fail if you clean it. Its slim but its possible. If you still decide that you must clean the transfer belt… then vacuum out the waste toner section or self cleaning section of the transfer belt and test it… if that doesn’t work try cleaning the actual belt with a lint free rag and isopropyl alcohol or rubbing alcohol. There is a chance the alcohol might make copy quality worse because the glue is taking off parts of the cleaning belt material but if you are at this point then cleaning the belt is a last ditch effort before you replace it.
