Lets say that scan to email was working perfectly on your network.
Lets say that one day scan to email stopped working.
Lets say you checked the email account and found no password or login changed.
You checked the the email account and found that the email account has enough space in it. It is not operating above its size quota. The port number hasn’t changed.
Lets say you tried using the ip address instead of the host name for the smtp server.
Lets say none of this worked…
Lets say you pinged the host name of the smtp server and got intermittent time outs.
Lets say you pinged the ip address of the smtp server and got intermittent time outs.

At this point, its time to test your networkSPEEDTEST.NET
If your network speed is slow… then you have to troubleshoot your router…check your firewall…. and check to see if any port or ip address is blocked… then check to see if anybody is doing any serious downloading or hogging network resources…
if all is well then the issue lies with your internet provider.
