[TRY THIS FIRST... TURN ON DHCP ON THE COPIER OR MFP AND THEN FLIP THE UNIT OFF AND ON... THAT WILL USUALLY GIVE YOU YOUR SETTINGS... IF THAT WORKS THEN YOU TURN DHCP OFF... IF IT DOESN'T THEN TRY THE FOLLOWING....]

If you are having issues with resolving DNS for an smtp server or a pop server for a copier then it may be best to use GOOGLE PUBLIC DNS OR DYNDNS.
